And the family head for Hong Kong and Shenzen on the 5th Feb-2007. Both cities are nothing but a concrete jungle. Hong Kong is about the size of Singapore with 6.5million population. Exchange rate was approximately 0.45. Everything is expensive in Hong Kong. Rental of a small cafe shop about 20feet wide x 40feet long is HK$100,000 (about RM45,000). This would translate a cup of coffee to HK$40.00.

My sisters wedding has gathered the siblings back to my parent's small bungalow in a small village named Kampung Santan. It is in the state of Perlis, north of Peninsular Malaysia. For a few days the house was occupied by 21 people. Every meal time is like a feast by itself. The fresh air, tranquility and the atmosphere has put everyone's work and worries to a complete stop.

Took the family to Janda Baik, Pahang. We stayed in a resort called Seri Pengantin Resort. Nice landscape (a bit overdone), nice room with reasonable room rates, nice swimming pool, and nice barbeque space at riverside.
